I would really love to know whether the Iliad thinks the pen is in (and the wacom is off), or out (and wacom is on).
It frequently happens that I take the pen out but the wacom remains inactive. I suspect that sometimes I put the pen back in, but the wacom stays active - which would drain the battery quickly.
Something simple (like: take out - led blinks once; put in - blinks twice) would be completely sufficient. |

There is a sensor in the stylus holder, when you remove the stylus the digitizer (wacom sensor board) is activated. If you re-insert the stylus or wait 3 minutes the digitizer is deactivated.
What you mention is a known issue and we expect a bug fix for it in v2.7. |

Talking of this, my pen doesn't seem to de-activate after 3 minutes. This hasn't caused me any problem, but I have noticed it sometimes in the middle of a sudoku, I put the iLiad down to do something else but I don't put the pen away, and I can always just carry on writing afterwards. |

Wow you already do Sudokus? Where do you get them?
How do you activate the stylus to do them? _________________ -----------------------------------

http://sourceforge.net/projects/pysudoku
sounds like just the thing.
| Quote: | | Python Sudoku is a text and graphical program (gtk interface) to create or resolve sudokus. It can also print a sudoku (1 or 4 sudokus in each page) and write a image (png, jpeg, etc) with a sudoku. |

I think you'll enjoy it (once your issue with the pen is resolved). I hadn't tried sudokus before the iLiad, but have done other similar puzzles on paper, having the ability to easily erase all the annotations and working-outs and leave a clean, resolved puzzle is very cool.
BTW, I just googled "sudoku download" and found several sites, but mostly in pdf which I turned into png myself. |

here's one i made with that program running in windows, unfortunatly no setup.py is included with pysudoku otherwise i would have compiled to a windows .exe so you have to install python then python image library and reportlab :/

| For all you Mac OS X users (and you know whom you are) you have Python built into your computer. No need to compile anything, just download and use directly. |

Great!
Optimal size would be 768x940 (iso 950) although the image viewer resizes the image automaticly.
We have many customers that are intrested in this, can we place a link to this on our site? |
